  • 11/MAY/2017 – New ARM (V2.4.2), FPGA (DB11 8/5/2017) and Menu System (V2.0.1) firmwares, as well as a new Systems Manual. List of changes available here.

 

  • 27/APR/2017 – Checkout payment bugs via Credit/Debit Card for “Hong Kong” and “Vietnam” have been fixed. The problem was that a postcode is required for the system to pass validation and authenticate the card number to be processed.

 

  • 20/APR/2017 – A new ARM firmware and Menu System are available. This update solely addresses the fragmentation bug present in ARM V2.4.0.
  • We have received our 3D printed prototype (seen here) and we will begin injection moulding of PSIO cases hopefully within 8 weeks. We are planning to have pre-orders available once we are ready to begin production. More news regarding this matter will be posted when applicable.

 

  • 12/APR/2017 – We are aware of a bug regarding fragmentation issues on the latest ARM firmware (V2.4.0). We are currently resolving the issue, and an update will be released immediately once we have done so.

 

  • 11/APR/2017 – A new Menu System and ARM firmware are available. This update fixes over 21 software title issues, bringing PSIO’s overall compatibility up to 98.2%. More information here.

 

  • 31/MAR/2017 – Systems Manual updated (R2.5).

 

  • 27/MAR/2017 – A new System Console (V2.1) is available. This update addresses problems that 64-bit users were having in regards to the error codes 0x8007007E and or 0x8007000B displaying when attempting to load an image. More information here.

 

  • 20/MAR/2017 – A new Menu System (V1.8.209) is available. New fixes consist of addressing a rare bug in which some PlayStation’s would always boot to a blank screen after the license screen due to a previously bad video mode selection. Resetting of the cartridge was impossible, and so, this rendered the cartridge unusable. More information found here.

 

  • 01/MAR/2017 – We are currently updating our SSL certificate on this website, so errors where SLL (HTTPS) is required will show a certificate warning. In the meantime, it’s perfectly safe to ignore the warning and continue.

 

  • 24/FEB/2017 – New firmwares for the ARM (V2.3.25) and Menu System (V1.7.10) have been released. More information available here.

 

  • 18/JAN/2017 – An update to the ‘Systems Console’ as been released. This is a major revision change as the program now includes full USB support.

 

  • 30/DEC/2016 – Due to the holiday season, the October shipments are still being assembled. We expect them to now be shipped in January. Sorry for any inconvenience.

 

  • 18/DEC/2016 – New Systems Console (V1.8) now available. Older Systems Console programs will automatically notify you that there is an update.

 

  • 13/DEC/2016 – New firmware for the FPGA (DBF9 11/12/2016), ARM (V2.3.23) and Menu System (V1.5.75). There is also a new ‘Systems Manual’ available which contains new information on how to define separate directory CDDA/XA Mode settings. More information available here.

 

  • 30/OCT/2016 – A new Menu System (V1.4.22) has been released, which addresses some problems that the recently previous version just released had.

 

  • 29/OCT/2016 – New firmwares have been released. The ARM, FPGA and Menu System have all been updated.
  • All July orders have been shipped, and Tracking Numbers have been issued.
  • The October PSIO orders are in assembly, and will be ready for shipment mid-December (just in time for Christmas).

 

  • 09/OCT/2016 – A new version of “Fastboot” (V1.8) is available. This version fixes a bug where the system would randomly crash certain PSX titles.
  • A new version of the “PSIO Systems Console” (V1.7B) is available. This version fixed a bug where long file names would not convert at all.
  • PSIO cartridges will be re-available October 25th at 1 AM AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time).

 

  • 12/SEP/2016 – A new version of the “PSIO Systems Console” (V1.6B) is available. This version fixes a some bugs to do with the MULTIDISC.LST file creation techniques and backup routines.

 

  • 11/SEP/2016 – A new version of “Fastboot” (V1.7) is available. This version fixes a bug where the system would randomly crash with DUAL-SHOCK controllers.

 

  • 03/SEP/2016 – A new version of the “PSIO Systems Console” (V1.5B) is available. Changes are listed in the README.TXT file in the archive, and on the “auto-update details page” within the program itself.

 

  • 29/AUG/2016 – A new version of the “PSIO Systems Console” (V1.4B) is available. It allows multiple track image file conversion and CUE sheet manipulation. It is still in development however, so the older version (V1.3B) is included for USB support.

 

  • 15/AUG/2016 – A small issue with our website coding has been fixed which gave a false unsecured SSL/HTTPS certificate or transmission warning when on the checkout screen.

 

  • 06/AUG/2016 – Another mass email was sent out by our automated system to all mail subscribers which was an error by the system. Cartridges are not back in stock, and they will not be until October. We apologise for the error.

 

  • 02/AUG/2016 – The July orders are “Processing” and will be changed to “Assembling your PSIO Cartridge” in a week or two. We are just currently waiting on a new CNC milling bit for the plastic cases.
  • We have some new firmware in testing which will be released soon for public use.

 

  • 26/JUL/2016 – July orders are available! If you miss out, don’t worry, we’ll have more available in October.

 

  • 11/JUL/2016 – A new Fastboot (FBOOT) version has been released (Version 1.6). Improvements include fixes a few PlayStation’s that refused to boot with ‘Fastboot’ enabled in the Menu System. If you have any problems with this new release, please notify us as soon as possible.

 

  • 01/JUL/2016 – Shipment of the March orders for PSIO has begun. Your order will be flagged as “Processing for Shipment”. If it is not, do not worry, as you will instead be part of the early July shipment period which will be within the first two (2) weeks of July. Thank you for your patience.
